So Stewart Cink wins the British Open…   Any surprise that Tiger missed the cut?  Not really.  I think that it is obvious that Tiger has still not recovered from his ACL knee surgery.   Tiger will be back to form but maybe not until next year.

What really surprised me was that Tom Watson came so close.   Was always a Tom Watson fan.  Too bad because this may have been Tom’s last chance at a major with of course the age factor.

I must admit that I did not watch the open because like everyone else and their grandmother I DO NOT watch a major or any golf tournament for that matter unless Tiger is in the hunt!
